message from John, Tony & Alan.........Hi G.

Please let all know (who are asking), that the cd's are ready and waiting to go.

We (the band) are all looking forward to getting our copies :) to Danny Roberts, is stepping in for Brent to ensure the cd's will get to the necessary distribution company, hopefully this week.

The social sites that were set up by Brent were in his name (his dept).

As hard a decision as it was, Brent resigned due to his family commitments (job). Brent will still be involved with the band (as much as his job will allow). From our perspective, we are just the same three guys who made the music, nothing's changed.

We had no part in running Face book or any of the other social sites. From this point forward we are 'not' looking to promise things that are unattainable, and we just want to keep it real.

TheOutfield.com will now be our main news and business page (period), it will not have a fan post page. We will not be setting up any 'official' social media websites.

The Outfield fanzone is probably the best place to chat amongst friends and we will keep Bruce (who runs the Fan Zone) up to date with any new developments or further releases, etc!!

We, John, Tony, and Alan did not record 'Replay' looking for commercial success, It's just three mates who got together again for their own personal gratification (and Outfield fans). For us, it was always about making music for the right reasons !!

We hope this helps explain any uncertainty surrounding the cd's and social sites.

A “THANK YOU” NOTE TO BRENT BITNER.

Hi Everyone.

Over the past two years Brent Bitner has been a major part of our lives. Although we’d all been friends for many years, Brent finally got involved on a day to day working basis late in 2009. From that moment forward he turned our world upside down with his non stop energy and enthusiasm. It’s fair to say that ‘Replay’ would not have been the same record without his relentless drive, passion and expectation.
Unfortunately we are sad to say Brent has chosen this moment to move on in life in pursuit of a new opening in his own field of business expertise. We are only too pleased to support his decision and we wish him and his family much success for the future. Brent will still be involved with the band (like Danny Roberts) and we feel confident that both these guys will keep us focused and motivated in times to come.

Seeing California Sun at No#20 in last weeks AC chart is testimony to the work that Brent has achieved with The Outfield. Such success has come without the support of a record label and hopefully shows that The Outfield does still connect with music fans and Radio Stations across the United States, (and beyond).

As for the future, We’ve decided to use this moment to bring everyone up to speed regarding our own situation. Johns’ on going health condition is stable. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to commit to long term touring plans. Tony has asked that we ‘keep things real’ and not make promises that we can’t deliver on. Alan would just like us to re-group and start building things from the ground up (as in live band). We hope to start rehearsing soon and see where it takes us. We are back in the studio next week and hope to finish out some of the new songs that we had started work on during the recording of ‘Replay’
